What makes entrepreneurial learning difficult: cognitive conflicts or cultural clashes?

As more entrepreneurial experiences are integrated into engineering programs, students faced with new challenges they need help in managing. While previous research has identified activities that struggle with, the antecedents of these difficulties have not been directly investigated. Drawing on an ethnographic study a project-based entrepreneurship course, this paper investigates as caused by both cognitive conflicts and cultural clashes. The findings suggest do necessarily stem from lack capabilities behalf students, can just well legitimate interest teachers to navigate. such, cannot always be solved learning about entrepreneurship. shown study, collaborative externally oriented – mainstays courses particularly contribute putting competing social demands students.
